You can access rugby rule books below from a shared Google drive folder. For any issues, please contact me at my email in the footer. Thanks to Phil McGowan and Niamh Field at the World Rugby Museum for help and advice in the archival process, and for facilitating my visit to curate the data.
Each folder contains the raw scanned images, as well as a searchable pdf over all images, and individual text files corresponding to the laws for an individual year. There are some exceptions to this format, but it is generally true. The oldest rule book in the data set is from 1844!
Feel free to use these, and if you do please cite the website and give us attribution. Recommended citations are provided in the README below.
